At DLMarklet, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with our house projects and services. We understand that sometimes a purchase may not meet your expectations, and we have established this Refund Policy to address such situations.

This Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through our website at dlmarklet.com and should be read in conjunction with our Terms and Conditions.

1. Digital Products

Most of our house projects and architectural designs are delivered in digital format. Due to the nature of digital products, which can be easily copied or distributed once downloaded, we have the following refund policy for digital products:

1.1 Before Download

If you have purchased a digital product but have not yet downloaded any of the files, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the purchase date. To qualify for this refund, our system must confirm that no files have been accessed or downloaded.

1.2 After Download

Once you have downloaded any part of a digital product, we generally do not offer refunds except in the following circumstances:

  • Technical errors: If the files are corrupted or technically defective in a way that prevents their proper use, we will either provide working files or issue a full refund.
  • Missing components: If your purchase is missing components that were advertised as part of the product, we will either provide the missing components or issue a partial refund reflecting the reduced value.
  • Significant discrepancy: If there is a significant and material discrepancy between the product as advertised and as delivered (beyond minor variations in design details), we may offer a partial or full refund at our discretion.

1.3 Customized Digital Products

For digital products that have been customized according to your specific requirements, no refunds are available once the customization process has begun, unless there are technical errors in the delivered files as described above.

2. Physical Products

For physical products (such as printed plans or materials):

2.1 Return Period

You may return physical products within 14 days of delivery for a full refund of the purchase price, provided that:

  • The products are in their original condition
  • All packaging and seals are intact
  • The products have not been used, marked, or damaged

2.2 Return Shipping

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the product was delivered damaged or incorrect. Return shipping must be done using a tracked service to ensure that we can verify receipt of the returned items.

2.3 Processing Time

Refunds for physical products will be processed within 14 days of our receipt of the returned items and confirmation that they meet the conditions stated above.

3. Services

For consultation services, custom design services, or other non-product services:

3.1 Cancellation Before Service Delivery

If you cancel a service before we have begun providing it, you will receive a full refund of any amounts paid.

3.2 Cancellation During Service Delivery

If you cancel a service after we have begun providing it, but before completion, you will receive a partial refund based on the proportion of the service that has not yet been delivered, less a 20% administration fee.

3.3 After Service Completion

Once a service has been fully delivered, refunds are generally not available unless the service failed to meet the specifications agreed upon in writing before the service commenced.

5. Refund Methods

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:

  • Credit/Debit Card: Refunds to credit or debit cards typically appear within 5-10 business days, depending on your card issuer's policies.
  • PayPal: Refunds to PayPal accounts are typically processed within 1-3 business days.
  • Bank Transfer: Refunds via bank transfer may take 5-7 business days to appear in your account.

Please note that while we process refunds promptly, the time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and is beyond our control.

6. Exceptions

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law. If you are purchasing as a consumer, you have certain legal rights regarding the return of items that cannot be excluded by our policy.

In the UK, consumers have the right to cancel a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium (like downloadable house plans) within 14 days without giving any reason, but this right expires once the performance of the contract has begun with your express consent and acknowledgment that you will lose your right of cancellation.

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. It is your responsibility to review this Refund Policy periodically for changes. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
